We stayed there for the trip, had an enjoyable experience. We appreciated the staff, everyone was very responsive. It had a comfortable and top setting near the bakery downstairs, many restaurants, and the Train Station, Chinese Museum, Queens Garden, 1st Church of Otago.
Tbh, rooms were very small.

Me and my squad had a blast exploring the Octagon and checking out the dope historic buildings nearby. The apartment was super cool, with a mix of old school vibes and modern swag. Plus, the hosts hooked us up with breakfast goodies and a chill coffee setup. It was for real a sick place for young peeps like us to stay!
The only thing we wished for was a sick party spot in the hotel. Like, it would've been dope if they had a rooftop bar or a sick lounge area where we could kick it with our crew and have the ultimate young party vibe.

Best service ever
In general: I worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, have stayed in a awful lot of hotels, motels and apartments in NZ and around the world and can honestly say I have not had a better experience than the service we received from Antonia. Location and surroundings: The apartment (#6) was superbly located, spotlessly clean and ideal for our needs (two couples). It was only a short walk to the Railway station, the Octagon, or the supermarket. Surrounded by good cheap (by our Brisbane standards) parking. Service: Antonia"s communication with us was unsurpassed, she was with us every step of the way from initial booking to pre arrival info to parking options around the apartment and follow up after check in, during our stay and after check out.Could not recommend The Terminus more highly, you will not regret staying here or booking through Antonia. Dining: The kitchen is fitted out superbly with very thoughtful and helpful little touches provided like umbrellas and supermarket shopping bags. It's the little things and attention to detail that separates a good experience from a great one and ours was certainly a great stay. up with the very best I have ever experienced.

The location was amazing - perfect for exploring on foot. Free parking during public holidays was a bonus. Lovely character building with comfortable accommodations. Hosts provided bread and supplies for breakfast. Exceptional customer service. Apartments were spacious and modern, with a New York loft style vibe. Amenities like a washing machine and dryer were great for our large family. the refrigerator with an ice and water component was a hit with the kids.
Felt safe and secure, nothing to complain about.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Terminus! It was the highlight of our trip, with its beautifully renovated historical building and thoughtful inclusions like fresh bread, slippers, and ground coffee. The kitchen and bathroom were amazing, and the park view was lovely. Despite its central location, the double glazed windows made it surprisingly quiet. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. Thank you for making our stay so special!
I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautifully designed apartment in Dunedin. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment had all the amenities I could ask for, including spacious wine glasses! Antonia, the host, was a pleasure to deal with and made my short stay a dream. I can't wait to come back for a longer visit and try out the restaurant in the building. I highly recommend this oasis in the heart of Dunedin.

The Terminus provided us with a lovely unit during our recent stay. The apartment was beautifully furnished and offered stunning views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space to relax and unwind. Although we only stayed for one night, the apartment was equipped with everything necessary for a longer stay, making it a cozy and enjoyable home away from home. The location, although not right in the center of town, was still within walking distance, making it easily accessible for those who are mobile.

The room at The Terminus was an absolute dream! I loved how the apartment was soundproofed, making it the perfect peaceful retreat after a long day of meetings. The stovetop and tumble dryer were super convenient, and having a private bathroom with a shower was a definite plus. As a busy business traveler, these amenities made my stay comfortable and hassle-free.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the electric kettle. It just didn't quite match my personal preference for making a good cup of tea.
